OUR CUSTOMER REVIEWS
Andrew McLeod2023-12-04Really good installation and advice, helpful support. We love the heat pump.John Parker2023-10-09As a previous customer of Oxygen Air I immediately went back to them when we needed 2 units installed at 2 properties. My phone call was answered in a friendly and professional manner, and this was to be my ongoing experience with all the staff members I met. My take on Oxygen Air is they must be a good company to work for, who must appreciate the staff they have. I say this because every staff member I met was happy in their work and friendly throughout the time they were at our properties. The quality of work was excellent, and the installation teams gave me confidence in the best practices they used throughout the installs. I highly recommend this company for both quality of work and professionalism.Anne White2023-09-03The team from Oxy Air installed a heat pump for us last Thursday 31st Aug 23. Absolutely could NOT fault anything about their entire process. Dan came and did the quote and we received it on the spot. We did a comparison with another company and did not receive their quote until almost 3 weeks and two reminder emails later and a separate electrician turning up to quote that side of the job. With Oxy Air, everything Dan said would happen did happen. We accepted the quote. Dan submitted it. We had a call the next day from, Magda in the office called to discuss and confirm a date for installation which was going to be 5 days later. Ashley from the office then called the day before installation to make sure we still were happy with the team arriving the next day and confirming times. The next day the first van arrived and Damien talked to us about the installation and discussed the best place for it again and he started work. A short while later another van arrived with the electrician Rosco I THINK his name is and his apprentice and then a third van arrived with another installer. Super efficient! We could not have asked for better service. All of the guys were really friendly and cheerful. I think that the fact that the company handles everything with their own crew instead of out sourcing to an electrician makes the whole process so straight forward. Everything the company said would happen did happen exactly on time. Damien cleaned afterwards, even ran the vacuum round the carpet under the unit. All packaging and rubbish taken away. So we highly recommend Oxygen Air.Courtney Wooller2023-08-31Martin and his team are an absolute please to deal with. Very reliable, competitive and competent! 5 stars deserved! NookEd Bell2023-08-18Edit - I have updated my review to 5. Once the issue was sorted, it’s been a fantastic unit. After 10 days the unit stopped working. I called Oxygen Air for help and they told me it would be another week or so before a technician could come and look at it 🤷♂️ but it was good before that.Mary Walsh2023-08-07From first inital contact, dealing with the Team at Oxygen Air was a breeze, reliable, friendly and efficient. Thank you to Tom and Kashmir for their timely installation, they also left everything tidy and I will now enjoy a comfortable and cosy home, thanks to the professional service and great communication from all the team. 10/10 🙌Brett Perry2023-05-22Good service. The consultant arrived on time. Gave me a quote with a choice of manufacturers and two weeks later the units were installed and a very tidy job. Thank you very much

HEAT PUMP FAQS
No! In New Zealand, we call them heat pumps, whereas other countries call them air conditioners. Heat pumps and air conditioners are the same thing! They use technology to cool and heat any space you desire – making it a versatile option for year-round climate control.
There are several factors to consider when determining what capacity heat pump you should buy. Here are some of the things you should consider:
- Size of the space
The size of the space to be heated and cooled is an important factor in determining the capacity of the heat pump. The larger the area, the larger the capacity heat pump that will be required to heat and cool it adequately.
- Climate
The climate in which the heat pump will be used is another important consideration. In areas with colder temperatures, a heat pump with a higher capacity will be required to maintain comfortable indoor temperatures during the winter months.
- Energy efficiency
Choosing a heat pump with high energy efficiency ratings is essential to help lower energy costs and reduce environmental impact. A higher-capacity heat pump may have lower efficiency ratings, so it is important to balance capacity with efficiency.
Generally, it is best to consult with professional heat pump installers like our team at Oxygen Air to determine the appropriate capacity heat pump for a specific space.
We’ll consider all the relevant factors and recommend the best solution for your needs. This service is absolutely free!
Yes, they are, but it is still very important we visit your property to ensure complete compliance.
